The seasons are changing! I don’t know about you, but when the seasons change I get a boost of creativity and like to switch things up. My favorite thing is to put together new color palettes with my yarn. Today I’m going to share with you some fun color palettes that hopefully will inspire you too!

Fall Palette
Where I live we’re heading towards fall. Fall has really bold warm colors, which are fun to pair with bold jewel tones. For this palette I threw together a wine red, a rust red, and a mustard. Then added a jeweled teal and a muted purple. I like to add muted or neutral colors to balance out the bold.
Earthy Palette I like earthy palettes that are light and fresh, which is what my goal was when I put these colors together. This one is also on the warmer side with a warm green and brassy brown (don’t forget my two warm neutrals…seriously I can’t help it!)
Bold PaletteI love a bold palette! I’ve added three neutrals to balance out the bright pink and yellow. I’ve also added a purple that I would normally not consider neutral, but compared to the pink and yellow, it helps balance the brightness.
Pastel Palette
I like that with pastels you can be bold, but they are much lighter and playful. I think this palette is also great for Spring colors. I made it one the warmer side, but then added a minty-blue to cool it down.
Which is your favorite color palette? Do you have colors that you tend to use more often then others?
Happy Weaving!
