When the ladies at Loome reached out to me and asked if I would like to try one of their Loome Tools, I of course said yes. This is a really cool tool that allows you to make a few different fiber accessories like pom poms, cords, friendship bracelets, and even small weaves! It’s really versatile. So far I’ve only made pom poms with it, but I’m really excited to try some other things with it.
To be completely honest, I really enjoyed using the Loome to make pom poms. I actually found it easier then using my clover pom pom maker and like I said you can make other things with this tool too, so that’s a win-win to me.
They offer 4 different styles of the tool and provide videos on how to use the tool. It’s very cool so I wanted to share with all of you incase you’re looking for a tool to help you make some different fiber things. I think the next thing I’ll try is making a cord, I’ve been wanting to make a square cord for a while now.
Do you have anything extra you like to add to weaves, such as pom poms? Maybe beads or stones? There are a lot of fun extras that can be added to a weave.
Happy Weaving!

I received this tool for free, but I was under no obligation to share this tool and all opinions are my own (which means I really like it!)

October 13, 2016 at 3:20 pmOh fun! I have the Clover pom pom maker too, but a more versatile tool is always great for a minimal kit.
I’ve added some turquoise to a weaving … It’s fun to add different elements, and can create a more visually interesting piece.
Happy to have found your blog – the technique posts are very helpful!

October 13, 2016 at 4:03 pmI have one too! I bought the one that is solid on the bottom with the two arms sticking up! I forget what they call it but anyway, I made a necklace with it. First try so it was a challenge and will be trying other things with it. Plus it’s so darn cute!

October 16, 2016 at 1:22 pmOh cool, I wasn’t sure what the difference in the tools was, but after looking on their site all the styles can make the same things so I guess it’s more of a preference 🙂
